Returns, Refunds and Warranty Policy

What is our return policy?

Our return policy complements your rights as per the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, as we aim for you to be satisfied with your purchase. We strongly recommend that you read the following details carefully, to be fully informed about your rights under this policy and our responsibilities towards you.

Changing your mind / purchasing the wrong product by mistake
 

* If you reconsider your decision post-purchase, or discover that you've bought the wrong item, rest assured knowing we provide a 7-day exchange policy (this does not include special order items).

* In instances where there isn't an appropriate product available for exchange with your returned item, we will offer you a credit on your account.

* To qualify for an exchange, the product must be in its sold condition. Furthermore, we must be informed within 7 days of purchase/delivery. Please note that special order items are an exception and cannot be returned or exchanged.

New Laptop

Products that are faulty upon arrival / first use

* If the product you've purchased is defective upon receipt or during its initial use, Millennium Technology Taupo pledges to repair or replace your product, or provide a credit/refund when a suitable replacement cannot be found.

* Any returns pertaining to this issue must be initiated within a 7-day period from the date of purchase.

Online Monitoring

Products that are faulty within the warranty period

* If your product develops a fault or fails to work as expected within the warranty period specified at the time of purchase, Millennium Technology Taupo will either repair or replace your product, or provide a credit/refund if an appropriate replacement isn't available.

* You may initiate returns of such nature at any point during the warranty period. However, you are responsible for any costs incurred in shipping the product back to us.

* Upon returning a product, we'll require you to provide pertinent information related to your return or as required by law. If this information isn't provided, it may hinder our ability to process your return.

Designer

Products damaged in transit

* We strongly urge you NOT to accept delivery until you have thoroughly inspected the goods. If you sign for goods that are later discovered to be damaged, you cannot make a claim on them. Should your goods arrive damaged, refuse to sign and immediately get in touch with us.

* In case your product has suffered damage while being transported to your delivery address, Millennium Technology Taupo commits to replacing your product, or issuing a credit/refund in case a suitable replacement isn't available.

* For such returns, you must inform us within a 24-hour period so that we can organize a courier collection of your product if you made the purchase online.

Testing fees and return freight
 

* Should you send back a product which shows no defects, a testing fee might be charged.

* The Return to Base Hardware Warranty we offer does not include any costs associated with returning courier or freight services. As with standard retail practices, if a product purchased from Millennium Technology Taupo develops a fault, the responsibility of returning the item to our location lies with the original buyer, and the associated costs are borne by the customer.
